About Us

The Parsons Area Community Foundation (PACF) is a unique charity focused on local community improvement through grants and community leadership. Donors have a flexible, accountable, and impactful way to make one-time, repeat and estate-based charitable gifts. We can direct these gifts to support specific charities, a certain area of charitable interest, or to unrestricted funds used by the board for addressing identified community needs. The Foundation is governed by a board of involved citizens committed to improving local quality of life.

You Can Make a Difference!

Through the Community Foundation, your gift may support the charitable cause most important to you, or be pooled with other contributions to impact the community through an annual competitive grant cycle for improvements to health, education, parks, recreation, the arts and social services within 25 miles of Parsons. Our types of funds and donor stories show the many opportunities for giving. Since our inception in 1996, we have invested more than $3.5 million in the Parsons Area. 

The Parsons Area Community Foundation believes the strength of our communities is exemplified by neighbors giving to neighbors to enhance the quality of life in the areas where we live. The Community Foundation provides the opportunity to build on that strength.
