Carol A. Fincher

Carol A. Fincher, 77, of Parsons, passed away at 2:52 a.m., Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at the Presbyterian Manor in Parsons.

She was born on December 7, 1946, at Parsons to Chester and Annabel (Tanner) Hudson. She grew up at Parsons and attended Parsons schools and graduated from Parsons High School in 1965. She attended Labette Community Junior College before attending Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1969.

She and Stephen Murray “Steve” Fincher were united in marriage on April 2, 1969, at the Central Avenue Christian Church in Parsons. He survives of the home.

She lived in various places during the duration of her husband's military career. She was a homemaker and military wife during that time. Following his retirement and honorable discharge the family moved back to Parsons in 1985 where they made their home.

She was a lifetime and faithful member of the First Christian Church in Parsons. She was active serving the church in many ways including the Disciples Women and the Pairs and Spares Sunday School class.
